Breakfast was excellent, and the dinner menu featured a delightful variety, including some tasty omelettes. The room was comfortable, although attention to cleaning could improve, as there were noticeable cobwebs and bathroom tiles needed scrubbing. While we enjoyed the cozy atmosphere, the lack of USB charging points and instructions for room amenities hindered the experience. Despite these issues, the friendly staff and charming surroundings made for an enjoyable stay, and I would return for the excellent food and welcoming vibe.

Couples seeking a rustic charm
Had a lovely stay in a beautifully presented room with views. The free-standing bath was a nice touch that added character to the experience.
It wasn’t exactly a bargain, but the charm made it acceptable.

the staff were super friendly and gave us a warm welcome. our classic double room was really comfy and nice, with plenty of thoughtful touches for our dog, which was such a bonus. dinner was lovely, had a good choice of roasts and brekkie was excellent too! also, loved the cozy vibe of the pub and it had a great location for walks.
however, the bathroom could've used a nightlight since the illuminated mirror didn't work, and the sloping ceilings were kinda annoying for tall folks like me.

I adored the charming decor and the warm, welcoming atmosphere throughout the establishment. The staff were exceptionally helpful, making our stay comfortable and enjoyable. The accessibility features were also thoughtful for seniors like myself, truly enhancing our experience.
More accessible shower options would be appreciated.

missingWrote a review on 10 Junslow food service
The experience veered off course with the slow food service that left guests waiting longer than expected. Mobile reception inside the room was non-existent, forcing me to step outside for anything but basic communications. The lack of a fixed mirror and appropriate lighting in the bathroom for personal grooming didn't work well for my needs, pushing me to improvise at the bedside. the constant noise from the busy road just outside could detract from the overall tranquility, especially if windows are open during warmer months.

missingWrote a review on 22 Febplentiful breakfast
It was just a proper fit for an overnight stopping in Chilgrove with great value-to-price ratio. The breakfast was plentiful, but the poached eggs were overcooked. Consider checking the shower beforehand to ensure everything works properly.
